Glorie.Today Deluxe by Belgian Soprano talent Elise Caluwaerts

“Belgian soprano Elise Caluwaerts impressed with her supple sense of line and strength, displaying a soaring, pure-toned top register and richly colored lower register. “(The Australian)

We are happy to invite Belgian talent Soprano Elise Caluwaerts, thanks to her versatility and engaging personality, grew into a much sought-after soloist at home and abroad. She started her singing career as a baroque singer and expanded her repertoire to romantic and contemporary music. Her love for challenging repertoire – from opera to multidisciplinary projects – led to numerous creations and special collaborations with internationally renowned composers and ensembles. Her remarkable rendition of Lei in Pascal Dusapin’s room opera Passion during the Sydney Festival 2016 was praised by the press. Elise also released a CD at the end of 2016 with spectacular coloratura repertoire at the invitation of the St-Petersburg Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Walter Proost. This recording was a springboard for new international projects such as Mozart’s Don Giovanni (Donna Elvira) with the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra conducted by David Stern and the creation of Enjott Schneider’s opera Marco Polo directed by Kasper Holten in Guanghzou Opera (China) in May 2018 Elise also looks forward to her residency at the Center for Contemporary Opera in New York during the 2018-2019 season.

Adalbert Gans is a cosmopolitan. He wanders the globe as a charming, drinking, posh lifeseduction. His abstract art is desirable and recognized in the grotesque human behavior. His eagerness for discovery and restless escapism, gives Adalbert an unlimited spiritualism & love for life. He shocks, touches and criticizes with his language of colors and forms. While his work appears to be rigid, it remains sensual. Colors, geometrical forms and light sensations are the tools he uses in his art work.

In Herentals they call him the ‘Modegoeroe’ & ‘dieje snob van Antwerpe’, Dutch for the ’Fashion Guru & snob of Antwerp’. All kinds of people celebrate his artproduction and non-conformistic work ethic.
His hoodies are one of a kind, literally! His exclusive designs will let you think that you’re wearing a Dries Van Noten.

His paintings sometimes are monumentally grotesk and perverted, or childlike with a universal tenure, but in general he always astounds with demure and intelligent realisations

He’s always busy expanding his conscienceness with new or old insights following the example of the mythical painter Apelles. As an eternal student and admirer of the accomplishments of the ancient cultures he studies artists from all times and places of the world to harbor the finesses and meanings of their style. History, and great themes like birth, death, and the origin of man come together in his many masterpieces. A new explanation of the god-issue that will shake the secular world on its foundations and a complete assimilation with the new age of wich man stands only at the dawn, are but two of the many means van Heek uses to reach his final goal of artistic worlddomination through worldwide spiritual liberation.

‘Fields of Data’ is a repetition of energy, a chain of feels, transforming lines that travel by.

Esther JL Noben is art director at TOYKYO, a graphic design studio based in Ghent, BE. Graduated in Architecture, her graphic game is inspired by the geometry of the concrete jungle and exists most of the time by playing with repetition, alignment & distortion. With the computer as a tool she likes to use digital errors as an aesthetic tension in her mostly black and white visuals.

‘The first time I saw a lacquer piece, I had a crush on this medium. Its mystery, its elegance and its preciousness fascinated me.’ Anne Moukanda explains.
Practice the technique of lacquer is almost a way of life, it requires us to be patient, follow the steps and work with delicacy.

Anne’s work is definitely turned towards to modernity though she draw much of her inspiration from the past.
In a part of her artistic achievements, she often represents the human by what is most basic and common to all, the skeleton.

Through this choice, she wanted to erase differences related to the flesh and remind that we are all the same.

Painter of Renée’s Journey & former Fashion Designer, based in Antwerp

Steven’s love for drawing and painting began at an early age.
After a 20 YR career in fashion Steven was looking for a way in which his inspiration, imagination and creativity could be expressed. But with one requirement: the project had to be linked to a charity/sponsorship.

So is the idea to create a woman with a story, a kind of patron with a mission. Someone with a great personality, elegant but especially sophisticated.
Interesting details in Steven’s paintings: Renée’s hair color and the defined painting of her environment, the fantastic world she travels in.

”Renée’s journey” at the end of 2015 was launched in Belgium and was sold out in no time.
Steven dedicates 20% of the total revenue to a talented young Designer.
